What Cricket? - Purple Pumpkin January challenge

Hello again. Back today with my lo for the challenge over at purple pumpkin. I don't normally do much journalling (if any!) on my lo's. The usual excuse, handwriting, & also because it is the last thing I do I am always afraid I will stuff up my lo but I am pleased I decided to add it today and am even happy with the final result...

And then there was you... - D-Lish "lilac haze" challenge

Well, after my great start to the year, we had friends come to stay & I slowed right down but am determined not to stop. The good news is that my D-Lish goodies arrived and I have had a lot of fun putting this lo together for their challenge this month with the most gorgeous colours. After 4 boys, my husband's little princess arrived and while she may not be the most elegant princess, she certainly lights up all our lives!

 The theme is "lilac haze" & this is the mood board & the link...

First offering for CKC - You Are So Beautiful

So here it is, my first lo for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge. Wow, I can't believe I am posting twice in one day! I love holidays :))

I'm usually snipping doilies & stencilling or misting lately but I have really enjoyed just leaving this quite simple & graphic in design, even the whole doilly!

Counterfeit Kit Challenge - January kit

So, this is the first time I have joined in this challenge even though I have been following it for a while. I haven't been too sure how to do it so hope I am doing it right! I put together my kit last night & the scary thing is that I didn't even finish going through B & I had about 20 papers to choose from! (I keep my papers in alphabetical order by manufacturer) 
So here is the CKC kit & link...
   
And here is my kit...

 I think I have 12 papers, some spots, some stripes & some snow flakes, a christmas stamp set & a stamp set with some stars. Doilies, chip, pins, flowers, arrows, stars & buttons. I even have my first lo planned for the subway art challenge so will hopefully be back soon with my first share.

My Guy - Scrapfriends Colour Challenge

Hello for the first time in 2014 :) 
I woke up yesterday thinking "start as you mean to continue" so - for the moment at least! - I am firing and have my first share for the new year. (I actually finished last night but the light was too bad to take a photo) 
This is for the colour challenge over at Scrapfriends, one of my most favourite challenge sites...
