Today I am sharing a lo I created for the challenge over at Life. Paper. Scrapbook. I really liked the simplicity of my last lo so thought I would try the KISS approach again. Funnily enough my kids are not so keen. My son's comment on the last one was "Is that all you could think of to put on it!" As if I didn't love him as much because his page didn't have lots of decoration on it. lol
And here is the sketch and the link
Thanks for popping by. Have a great day...Jx

What a lovely take on the sketch! Thanks for playing along with us at LPS!
ReplyDeleteHello Jane.... thanks for popping by my blog. When using the paint dabbers to get a splat. first push the paint thru to the top and give it a good mist with water and then smash it onto your page. Just have a practice run and then you will see. Love how you coordinate the colors for this page and how you kept it simple. fabulous work!
ReplyDeleteOhhh! Makes perfect sense once you know how :D Thanks so much for getting back to me..Jx
DeleteHey Jane... Was reading your post to Leeann & her answer & I must say, I find Adirondack ones v hard to splat... But I'm gonna try the water thing.......distress ones are super, super easy in comparison & you don't need to add anything to get them to work!!!!! Loooove this page.....I'm a big fan of KISS - just find it hard to do!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lizzy. Looks like I am just gonna have to add distress dabbers to my wish list...all in the name of research of course :D
