Happy You - Life Paper Scrapbook Sept challenge

Today I am sharing a lo I created for the challenge over at Life. Paper. Scrapbook. I really liked the simplicity of my last lo so thought I would try the KISS approach again. Funnily enough my kids are not so keen. My son's comment on the last one was "Is that all you could think of to put on it!" As if I didn't love him as much because his page didn't have lots of decoration on it. lol

D-Lish september inspiration board challenge

Hello again. I was so determined to get a bit more scrapping time this month and this challenge was high on my priority list :) So fresh and just in time for spring. This photo of my son was taken last summer on a perfectly glorious day and just seemed to match my feelings from the board, so I took my inspiration from the blue & green and swapped the more girly elements for the circles and splashes.

 I have also included a close up as you can't see it very well but I have also stamped behind the pp...

A special bond - purple pumpkin Sept challenge

Hi All, I completed this lo for the Purple Pumpkin challenge. It is my dd and my Dad. Even though she is only 8, she shares my Dads love of the land and they often walk around the farm together with their walking sticks, having lovely chats. Neither of them knew I took this which is often my favourite type of photo.

I'm a book shelf! - 123 Challenge

Hi All, I think this lo was completed in a record time for me. Probably helped that I LUURVE pink, black & white. It just always seems so crisp & fresh :D I also had out so many bits ready for layering & washi tapes and embellies galore but once I started I really liked the simplicity so decided to go with the less is more philosophy.

The challenge over at 123 was colour pink (check), word sweet (check) & technique florals (check). I really love this challenge blog and would be so sad to see it go although it has been a couple of months since I have joined in - the last couple of months have really got away from me - but will make a concerted effort to join in every month from now on as part of the "save 123!"
