What is that? - Scrappy Canary Feb challenge

Good morning. Todays share is for the Feb challenge at Scrappy Canary.
I loved this sketch & immediately had an idea in head of what I wanted to achieve :)
Then I struggled to make it happen! :(
However I think I am happy with what I finally settled on although it was not the original idea
