Purple Pumpkin April challenge

Good morning! I just loved this sketch from PP the moment I saw it & knew that I would complete this challenge. I have been trying to scrap lots of old photos but was started to feel a bit bored so printed out this more recent shot of my gorgeous girl ;) and am really happy with the result.

123 April Challenge

This month I have printed out 8 challenges to complete and this is now offering #2. I only found this site this month but am so glad I have. The challenge this month over at 123 challenge was to use duck egg blue (check), the word "today" (check) & a white wash technique (check)

 Here are a couple of closies to show the word. I have used a crafters workshop template for this and down the bottom (I don't think you can see it) so that is actually ends up reading "together today...together in beauty"

Laugh...and the world laughs with you

Hello again. I was inspired  for this lo after receiving my last scrapbooking memories mag. There was an article on creating sunbursts by Gail Lindner. I really love her style and thought a sunburst would suit this photo of my son and aunt. I can't help but smile everytime I look at this photo - they just look so darn happy! :D 

(And of course I have also included a chevron bag from greatest view so thanks x2 Gail)

A Grand Adventure..

Hi All, hope you have had a lovely weekend. The weather here has been glorious. My ds had his first footy game on Saturday. He was captain for the first game, which he was very excited about & also got man of the match. Love that beautiful smile they have when all is right in their world :)
Anyway, this is my offering for the sketch challenge over at Scrapfriends from when he was a little younger...

Christmas 2004 - Creative Scrappers challenge #225

ok, so by the title you can see that I am only a little bit behind in my scrapping ;). However, in my defence, I don't scrap in any chronological order. For a little while now I have just picked up a photo and made myself scrap it rather than pick it up, put it back, over & over. That way I can't waste any more time than I already do hehe!
This one if for the challenge #225 over at Creative Scrappers. I think I am procrastinating less with my lo's and this one I didn't turn the sketch or anything so finished it fairly quickly once I got started.

  

You can't see it in the picture but the doilies are also sprayed with Mister Hueys shine to make them sparkle.
